When your Time-Tour Time Machine goes haywire, you and your fellow travelers find yourself in the old West, at the famous Sundial Saloon. Famous not only for being the rootinest tootinest saloon on this side of the Mississippi, decked out with more cowboy accoutrement then you can shake a rattlesnake at—but the very place where the first time machine was invented. Now, it’s up to you to round up your partners, saddle up with some puzzles, and fix the time machine before…

OUT OF THE PAST FAQ

Out of the Past is great for new Players who don’t mind a challenge! This room is a medium difficulty room, meaning you have about a 50% chance that you will “escape” the room. As always, you get unlimited hints! if you are looking to book your first experience, we have received feedback from our Players that this is a good one to try first.

Out of the Past is a Western-lover’s dream! If you like to saddle-up with a good John Wayne flick, then this room is absolutely the room for you! It’s always a good idea to worry less about escape-rates and to pick the room with the theme that most speaks to you; we promise you’ll have more fun that way!

Out of the Past is unfortunately not fully wheelchair accessible. About 30% of the game is in a room that has a load-bearing post that restricts access—the passageway through it is less than 36 inches. Luckily, Into the Future, the companion game to this one, is fully wheelchair accessible. Out of the Past is a medium difficulty room. This means that there is about a 50/50 chance that you will “escape” the room. Remember, you are always able to ask for a hint whenever you’d like! Hints are unlimited!

We recommend 3+ players for this room due to difficulty. That stated, if you are up for a serious challenge (or don’t mind it when you don’t “escape”), two players can absolutely complete and/or have a blast (from the past) in this room!

Out of the Past is not a scary room. The room is fairly well-lit and there are no jump-scares or horror elements in the room.

Out of the Past is the companion game to Into the Future! They were designed to mirror each other: every puzzle mirrors a similar (but not the same) puzzle in the Out of the Past room. This was done so that Dueling Games could play a similar, but distinct, room from each other. If you are interested in running Into the Future and Out of the Past as a dueling experience, contact us!
